Racquet: Head Gravity Pro 2025 ($279)
When a player swings as big as Rublev does, generating pace is not an issue. He requires a low-powered racquet that can direct all his heavy artillery at their intended targets. With its thin, constant beam and 18x20 string pattern producing top-notch feel and control, the Gravity Pro is the perfect complement.
For this latest edition, the balance point on the frame has been lowered making easier to handle and accelerate. The flex is also a bit lower, primarily because of the expansion of Auxetic into the yoke. The carbon fiber construction helps create a better response at contact, regardless of impact location on the string bed. Another new wrinkle is a half-cap grommet construction that adds stability to the frame and durability to the top of the hoop. The Pro is a demanding racquet, but if you’ve got the game it will help make it shine. The beautiful cosmetic is a nice bonus.
