Jessica Pegula ties the knot with longtime partner Taylor Gahagen

After a great couple of weeks in the California desert at the BNP Paribas Open, which resulted in a sweet quarterfinal run at the WTA 1000 event—it was time for Jessica Pegula to marry her longtime partner Taylor Gahagen.

The pair said "I do" in front of family and friends last Friday in North Carolina at the beautiful Biltmore Estate. The two were together for about six years before deciding to tie the knot. Pegula wore a traditional all-white dress while Gahagen donned a sleek blue suit for the special day.

Friends and fellow WTA players Jennifer Brady, Asia Muhammad, Taylor Townsend and Samantha Crawford were all present during the ceremony and reception that followed. The group was spotted dancing the night away, stopping by the wedding's on-site photo booth and pulling off major fashion looks.

During Pegula's Indian Wells campaign she opened up on Tennis Channel Live about her concern that Brady might not find a dress in time for the big day.

"I don't know if she has a dress, she keeps saying she's going to look for one but every time I ask her she's like 'yeah I'll go look today' and I'm like you're not. She says that every single day," Pegula said.

"So I'm a little worried. I was talking to Madison Keys, and she was like 'I guarantee if she comes back to Orlando she's going to be like hey, do you have a dress that I can wear.'" So yeah, definitely do not trust her."

According to photos it looks like the 2021 Australian Open finalist not only found a dress but absolutely slayed in it. Brady wore a shimmering silver v-cut mini dress with a black purse and heels to match and let's just say she understood the assignment.

Pegula has yet to post any photos herself on social media, but surely they will be pouring in soon. The American will be taking some time to celebrate and has yet to announce where she will be spotted on court next.
