Just in time for New Years, Steve Johnson became the title holder of father as he welcomed his daughter, Emma Mikala Johnson.

Emma was born on the morning of New Year's Eve, and Steve joins fellow pros Sam Querrey, Taylor Fritz and Mike Bryan as fathers on tour.

"Both mama and Emma are doing great and I am ready to spoil this princess day and night," Johnson wrote on his latest Instagram post.

Steve Johnson married Kendall Bateman at Maravilla Gardens in southern California in 2018. Their English Bulldog Chubbie enjoyed his last Christmas as the only child and his final days soaking up all the attention.

Johnson won't be kicking his 2021 season off in Delray Beach or Antalya this week. The world No. 73's last event was back in October, when he fell in the second round in Cologne.
