She began the 2025 season with a run to the Brisbane International semifinals and the fourth round of the Australian Open, losing both times to world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka. In doubles, she won the Brisbane title with Shnaider and reached the semis Down Under. In singles and doubles, many have set their own watches to the idea that she will soon make a Top 10 debut.
“It's pretty interesting for me to see how can I deal with that pressure, when everyone is saying that, ‘Okay, she's gonna be Top 10, she's gonna be the first one who will enter the Top 10 from younger players,’” she said in Melbourne. “I don't know, I feel like, ‘Okay, well, I'm just gonna try to do so!’”
