During a tournament filled with unprecedented weather and surreal scenes, the stop-start action at Roland Garros has sometimes felt like it took a back seat in the early rounds.

But amid Rafael Nadal's first-round farewell and Tsitsidosa's romantic reunion, the fashion has always center stage in Paris. This year's clay-court Grand Slam is no different, and while not every outfit was an ace, there were a few terre-battue looks that generated plenty of discssion on social media.

“Asymmetrical” was the theme for the four-time major champion during her run to the second round, applying to her color-contrast Zoom GP Challenge 1 shoes. One shoe comes in blue for calm, while the other is in red for strength.

Osaka completed the look with a pink visor and wristbands, as well as her signature green TAG Heuer Aquaracer.

In a sea of identical blue Nike outfits, world No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka stood out in her own colorway of the brand’s Dri-FIT tennis dress.

While the rest of the Swoosh’s roster wore the same look in “Thunder Blue”, Sabalenka’s own clay-hued “Rust Factor” orange version was a refreshing contrast—and not the first time the two-time Grand Slam champion has sported her own unique colorway at a major.

The textured dress also features Nike’s version of a moiré pattern, as well as a high neckline and keyhole back cut-out.

Daniil Medvedev's Lacoste kit became a Week 1 Outfit of the Day during one chilly evening in Paris, when the Russian had to comically bundle up under layers of jackets and leggings.

But beyond the memes, Medvedev’s signature kit from the Lacoste’s Roland Garros 2024 Collection was one of the standout men’s looks of the tournament. The former US Open champion wore a navy blue performance polo with burgundy red and white details, including a striped collar and sleeves, as well as burgundy red shorts and his Lacoste AG-LT Ultra shoes in navy blue.

All the garments feature Medvedev’s personal logo, which was introduced by the Croc last year and was influenced by his love for gaming.

Coco Gauff’s latest custom look by New Balance was also one of the most viral kits from this year’s Roland Garros, thanks to an unexpected WNBA crossover that saw Los Angeles Sparks star Cameron Brink cite the US Open champ as her pre-game fashion inspiration.

"I want to be like Coco," Brink said in L.A. of her 'little New Balance tennis set' while Gauff responded from Paris that "she rocked the fit better than anybody could have."

The American has been wearing a gray-and-off-white outift featuring a collared polo tank and pleated skirt, paired with her new Coco CG1 “Grey Days” shoes—released as a part of New Balance’s annual celebration of its heritage color.

For a brand whose roots go back to the 1960s Los Angeles tennis scene, K-Swiss hasn't made a splash at the pro level in recent years with mostly forgettable kits on a roster featuring Cameron Norrie and Liudmilla Samsonova.

Zhang Zhizhen's bold all-pink look proved to be a refreshing contrast at Roland Garros, and turned heads during the Chinese player's run to the third round. Zhang completed the perfectly coordinated outfit with pink and white K-Swiss Ultrashot shoes.

Andrey Rublev may still be waiting to take the next step at a Grand Slam—but at Roland Garros, we saw his clothing brand Rublo mark a new milestone in unveiling its first day and night match kits. One look featured the Russian in a white and red top featuring a geometric pattern across the right sleeve and matching red shorts, while the second featured all black with a slight hint of purple.

But the contrasting colorways were overshadowed by even bigger kit news from Rublev, as he completed both of his looks in Paris with brand new K-Swiss shoes. The world No. 6 had previously worn Nike for much of his career, continuing to compete in their Vapor Pro shoes even after launching his own apparel brand in 2023.

Ajla Tomljanovic turned heads all over Roland Garros during her brief, but very colorful, stay in singles thanks to a new geometric print by Original Penguin.

The 31-year-old rocked a royal blue and white long-sleeved crop top and Penguin's Flounce Tennis Skort for her first-round match, both of which feature a pop of hot pink for contrast. Tomljanovic completed the look with a blue Penguin visor and Wilson’s Rush Pro shoes in peachy pink.
