The United States has won 32 Davis Cups, more than any other country. This week the Americans are led by two of the sport’s top doubles stars: Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek. Both have been ranked No. 1 in doubles during their careers, and each has a doubles championship from one of the four majors on his resume. Last year the Davis Cup veterans took silver at the Summer Olympics in Paris. They will be joined by Mackenzie McDonald, who has a 3-1 Davis Cup singles record, and Marcus Giron, who won his first ATP singles crown in Newport, R.I., in July. Giron is making his Davis Cup debut, as the rising star he defeated in the final at Newport, Alex Michelson, who broke into the top 50 for the first time in 2024.

All-time doubles great Bob Brayn is Captain of the team. Bryan, who with his brother Mike won a record 119 ATP doubles championships, played on the most recent U.S. Davis Cup champion in 2007. This summer both Bryans will be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
